Financial Controller (32 to 40 hours a week) in Waalwijk

As a Financial Controller at RoboPharma in Waalwijk, The Netherlands (automation by Capsa Healthcare), you are responsible for the controller tasks such as preparing the monthly figures and the month-end closing. You also are responsible for the operational management of the administrative employees who can contact you with all their questions. In addition, you also control activities such as VAT returns, payroll tax payments, and sales invoices. You have many contacts within the organization to get the right input for the reports. This makes your work varied.
Together with the Financial Manager, you oversee everything in the field of finance and you contribute ideas about standardization and structure in our dynamic organization, such as setting up, implementing and continuing to improve the monthly reporting structure. You become part of a larger whole, but you will work within a close-knit team.



Due to the growing size of our organization, it is important to carry out a professionalization process. Being part of Capsa Healthcare accelerates this process. This new position was therefore created to make this move together with the Financial Manager.

Together you are responsible for:

  • Checking and analyzing the bookings within the entire financial administration.
  • The further development and preparation of accurate monthly financial reports and analyses.
  • Improving administrative organization and internal control.
  • Monitoring risks, liquidity and working capital.
  • Supervising internal cost settlements, VAT returns, budgeting, annual accounts and multi-year planning.
  • Requested and unsolicited supply of decision support/management advice and improvement proposals.
  • Operational management of administrative employees.
  • Provide support with the annual accounts process.

What do we ask?

  • You have a HBO / WO work and thinking level, preferably a completed HBO education in a financial field like Accountancy or Business Economics.
  • In addition, you have at least 8-10 years of recent relevant work experience, preferably in the business world. Experience in a technical environment is a plus.
  • You can enthuse people, and you have excellent communication and social skills. You are hands-on, independent, proactive and solution-oriented.
  • You are internationally oriented and you have a strong command of Dutch and English.
