“Building machines, installing them yourself, and then seeing them work…” We could tell you how beautiful our machines are, but we’d rather show you!

As a Machine Builder at RoboPharma in Waalwijk, no day is the same; you build a machine in the workshop, think along with a project team about new system solutions, or work on-site at a customer location. The assembly projects are very diverse, from special machine construction and small automation solutions to large projects for streamlining enormous logistical processes. And the customers are not only in the Netherlands; we are active worldwide. Together with the team, you are at the heart of our organization, making everything happen.

Your Role

As an  all-around mechanic and machine builder, you are technically versatile, and you enjoy it. During one project, you work on brand new installations, and in the next project, you face the challenge of making adjustments to improve existing machines. Or you independently come up with new solutions for machine systems. The tasks vary from mechanical operations such as turning, milling, and welding to electrical work and tasks with PCs and peripherals. You switch easily between these tasks or quickly make them your own. The broader your skills, the more variety you will have in your work. Showing initiative is appreciated. You mainly work from our location in Waalwijk, but installing and maintaining systems on-site at our customer locations is also part of the job. And that can also be abroad. Everything is, of course, in consultation with you. You will work on a pleasant, close-knit team, and together you ensure the best result every time.

What will you do?

  • Building assemblies and special machines
  • Assembling, testing, and making mechatronic projects operational
  • Installing and fine-tuning mechatronic projects
  • Troubleshooting (complex) malfunctions
  • Providing input and advice to project engineers

What can you expect from us?

  • A versatile role in an international, growing, and innovative organization.
  • A pleasant working environment where results matter, but respect for each other and a good, warm atmosphere are paramount.
  • Many enjoyable moments with colleagues, such as bi-weekly fresh soup in the canteen, Friday afternoon drinks, the annual BBQ, and if you want, a game of table tennis during the break!
  • A full-time salary between €2,800 and €4,000 gross per month, depending on your experience and knowledge.
  • Excellent other employment conditions, such as a good pension scheme, 25 vacation days with the option to buy more, travel allowance, and 8% holiday allowance.
  • Of course, access to a smartphone and company clothing.
  • We also happily invest in developing your talents.
  • We would like to formalize all this in a one-year contract. If it goes well for both sides, we will offer you a permanent position!

What do we ask?

You are someone with a broad interest in technology who is versatile and wants to be. You enjoy and are good at coming up with solutions for machine systems and dare to make decisions. You do not shy away from taking responsibility for projects. Additionally:

  • You have completed an MBO+ education in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or have comparable work and thinking level through work experience.
  • You have extensive, relevant work experience and at least 5 years of experience in machine construction.
  • You are positive and practical-minded.
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.
